Space Between Us
This juried exhibition features artwork that celebrate the Space Between Us. From abstract images and cosmic depiction of galaxies, to photographs of astronauts and space memorabilia, the artworks in the exhibition are not afraid of extending the cosmical significance of space, welcoming interpretations of personal space, relationships, loneliness and nostalgia. This exhibition is a reflection of our place in the vast universe, starting with our presence in the present.
As the world witness NASA's Mars 2020 Mission, a series of exhibitions in Pompano Beach celebrated humankind’s quest for knowledge, thirst for exploration, and Florida's role in space exploration. The exhibition “The Space Between Us” at Bailey Contemporary Arts featured artwork from visual artists that responded to a Call to Artists on the theme of "space exploration".
